Long work week

I'm in the middle of a 10-day work week so I've got plenty to upload to today's entry despite only a few days on the posting.

The class created the play about energy conservation, which includes an original song titled, Somewhere Over Arkansas that shares their hopes for a greener tomorrow and were named the 2010 Arkansas winners of the Igniting Creative Energy (ICE) challenge. ICE is a national educational competition sponsored by Johnson Controls that encourages K-12 students to develop creative ways to be more energy efficient and become better stewards of the environment.

About 50 motorcyclists participated in the 125-mile loop trivia ride which benefits Circle of Life.
