I started off the day looking for some enterprise art. Went over to Springdale Library and then down to UA campus for some tree-planting.
Following that, I went to the most amazing high school basketball arena -- yes, I said arena and not gym. Alma High School, the host of the 5A State Tournament, would rival most smaller college arenas. If you live in Arkansas and have the opportunity, GO SEE THIS FACILITY.

I love your basketball.
I always love your basketball though.
Unless you can give me a link to somebody who is better than you at shooting basketball, I am going to assume you are the best basketball shooter out there.
You are dang good. I LOVE checking out your BB photos, every time.
Today was no exception. nice job.
Cam, while I appreciate the compliments, I'm far from the best basketball shooter. I don't even really think of myself as better than good.
If you wanna see some great basketball shooting check Marc Henning's blog (linked on my page) or my good friend Chuck Liddy who shoots for the Raleigh News & Observer.
sweet. I've been in that Alma Arena. It IS IS IS legit. L-E-G-I-T.
Shooting baseball yesterday... two military helicopters show up, then a third, then a C-130.
Random. and Awesome.
More importantly - I've ever been MORE EXCITED IN MY LIFE to have 400mm in my hands. LOL
You think their basketball arena is amazing wait till you get to go to the football stadium. It is old and small but the "Dog Bowl" looks like a mini version of War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Pretty impressive for Alma.
you're too kind Jason.
i like your style too. (a little Starsky and Hutch reference) :)
Jason, nice shots. are you going to be there tomorrow or possibly at Fort Smith? I'm coming to Fort Smith tomorrow for the 7A. Oh, Mark, I think Kurt is going to take your place as the best photographer. I can't believe you let him use one of the D300!
that D300 is our extra body that i use as a second body for basketball. he grabbed it when i wasn't looking. :)
i'll have it back in time for the SEC Tournament in Tampa next week. boy is that ever going to be a short trip. :(
